Hi, I'm Corey! I’m a full-stack engineer at Netflix, where I work on the Cosmos platform—our cutting-edge orchestration system that manages all the encoding tasks across the Netflix ecosystem. In my role, I focus on shaping the user experience, leading everything from discovery and concept development to prototyping and refining solutions. What drives my work is a deep collaboration with users and a fast feedback loop that ensures we're always moving towards the best, most informed outcomes.

Throughout my career, especially during my time at Pivotal Labs, I’ve been a passionate advocate for User-Centered Design (UCD), lean product development, and Extreme Programming (XP). I’m a firm believer that these methodologies are essential for creating products that not only meet user needs but also uphold technical excellence.

What truly excites me is bridging the gap between technical execution and exceptional user experience—making sure we’re not just building things right, but building the right things.

Outside of work, I live in Maryland, just outside of Washington, DC, with my family. My wife and I are kept on our toes by our energetic 1.5-year-old daughter, and our lovable dog, Bowie, who brings joy and laughter to our home.
